The approach is via a century by century collection of 178 logicians/philosophers and a few others (famous in different degrees), including nine women. Several are quite surprising. For each there is quotation, a brief biographic screed, links for more study, and several very seldom seen images which depict both the person and the world at that time. The entire book has hyperlink navigation.
