Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Peter of Candia Project is an international collaborative effort to further the study of the life and thought of Peter of Candia O.F.M., the man born in Crete around 1340 as Petrus Philarghi and buried at Bologna in 1410 as Pope Alexander V. The Project aims to serve as an introduction to Peter of Candia, his life and work, and to make available via the internet an exhaustive bibliography concerning Peter of Candia, and eventually intends to publish electronic editions of the complete works of this important philosopher, theologian and church leader.
